For OnGrid, 2025 was that kind of year.

Amid growing scale, rising expectations, and a rapidly evolving trust ecosystem, our focus stayed unwavering. We didn’t chase everything. We focused on one thing: building trust that works quietly, consistently, and at scale.

What followed was a year of momentum—earned not through noise, but through discipline.

In 2025, more than 5,000+ organisations placed that trust in OnGrid. Together, we crossed 1 billion verifications completed—a milestone that represents years of compounding effort across teams, processes, and platforms.

Verification volumes grew by 41%, driven largely by deeper adoption and repeat usage. This wasn’t accidental growth. It came from clients choosing to stay, scale, and rely on us for mission-critical workflows.

We also strengthened the foundations:

  • Our NSR empanelment moved from Silver to Gold, reflecting stronger market validation.
  • Address verification coverage expanded to over 19,000 serviceable pincodes, increasing reach and reliability.
  • Our verification ecosystem grew through 70+ partners, adding resilience and operational depth.

At the centre of this growth was a shared belief: client experience is not owned by one function—it belongs to everyone.

Product Momentum, Without Losing the Plot

OnGrid: Making Background Verification Feel Lighter

For the OnGrid platform, the year was about simplifying complexity without reducing rigour.

We introduced Instant BGV, supported by Smart Fetch and AI-led initiation workflows. This reduced manual effort at the very first step—where most delays typically begin.

Reports were redesigned from the ground up, leading to a 60%+ reduction in report size. The result: faster reading, clearer outcomes, and easier decision-making.

AI also entered the customer experience more visibly with Miss Terry, our AI-powered chatbot. It helped resolve queries faster and allowed teams to focus on what truly needed human judgment.

Operationally, WhatsApp automation for insufficiencies and candidate coordination reduced follow-ups and compressed turnaround times. Enterprise workflows were strengthened further through deeper HR system integrations, supporting verification across hiring stages.

The aim wasn’t flash. It was flow.

Gridlines: Seeing the Full Picture, Faster

Gridlines continued its journey as a unified intelligence layer for complex risk workflows.

With DeepSight, multiple checks—identity, employment, business, financial, and mobility—came together through a single-input interface. This reduced integration fatigue and improved decision context.

We also launched deepfake-resistant Video KYC, enabling secure, real-time identity verification for sensitive onboarding journeys.

Intelligence depth expanded through transaction-level insights that support underwriting, segmentation, and collections. Due diligence workflows were strengthened with capabilities like RC–mobile linking and DigiLocker-based education verification.

Across Gridlines, the theme stayed consistent: fewer silos, clearer signals.

eLockr: Steady Steps, Strong Foundations

eLockr quietly had one of its strongest years.

With 104% growth in credentials issued, adoption accelerated across use cases and brands. More organisations began recognising secure, reusable credentials not as a feature, but as long-term infrastructure.

The year reaffirmed our belief that credentials should reduce friction for individuals and administrative overhead for organisations—without compromising security.

Partnerships, Conversations, and the Ecosystem Around Us

Scale is never built alone.

Throughout 2025, we continue strengthening our ecosystem through collaborations that expand capability and reach. Working closely with 70+ partners, we integrated deeper into workflows where trust needs to operate seamlessly.

We also stayed connected with the broader ecosystem—participating in platforms like GFF, TechHR, SHRM, and more. These weren’t just showcases; they were conversations about how trust, compliance, and verification are changing in practice.

The People Behind the Systems

Behind every verification completed and every workflow improved are people making it happen—day after day.

In 2025, our team strength grew by 20%, supporting scale across engineering, operations, and client-facing roles. As we grew, we remained intentional about culture.

Fun Fridays, team outings, festival celebrations, and regular engagement initiatives kept teams connected. Health camps and wellness sessions became a consistent part of our calendar, alongside enhanced health policies with a stronger focus on mental well-being.

Internally, we simplified employee experiences through structured helpdesk workflows and AI-powered action agents. These small changes added up, contributing to an employee experience score of 4.29.
